Zhongyue Mount Song is one of the important birthplaces of Chinese civilization, as well as an AAAAA level key scenic spot and national forest park in China. It was listed as a world geological park by UNESCO in 2004.Mount Song has a total area of 450 square kilometers and is composed of two mountains, the Taishi and Shaoshi. It is situated among the Five Sacred Mountains, characterized by wonder, danger, steepness, and beauty. Mount Song overlooks the Yellow River and Luo River to the north, faces Ying River and Mountain Ji to the south, connects to Zheng Bian to the east, and connects to the ancient capital of thirteen dynasties, Luoyang to the west. It is an important barrier to the east of the ancient capital, Luoyang, and is known as the capital of China. It has a profound cultural heritage and is the birthplace of Chinese Buddhist Zen and a holy land of Taoism. Mount Song was visited by over 30 emperors and over 150 famous literati. The Book of Songs has a famous line that goes, "The Song Dynasty is high and majestic, towering above the heavens.". As one of the important birthplaces of Chinese civilization, Mount Song is designated as a national 5A-level tourist attraction, a national forest park, and was recognized as a World Geopark by UNESCO in 2004. With a total area of 450 square kilometers, Mount Song consists of Taishi and Shaoshi Mountains, known for their uniqueness, danger, steepness, and beauty among the Five Great Mountains of China. Overlooking the Yellow River and Luo River to the north, facing Ying River, Ji Mountain to the south, connected to Zhengzhou and Kaifeng to the east, and linked to the ancient capital of Luoyang to the west, Mount Song serves as an important barrier to the east of the ancient capital Luoyang, known for its rich cultural heritage. It is the birthplace of Chinese Chan Buddhism and a sacred place for Taoism. Mount Song has been visited by over 30 emperors and more than 150 famous literati. The Book of Songs includes the famous line, "Song high and unique mountain, towering towards the sky."
