Fencing Bonus Round & Sabre Showdown

The heavy sabre used in the fencing segment differs from the foil and épée as it is purely a thrusting weapon. Only hits with the tip of the blade are considered valid, while hits with the side of the blade are invalid. Valid target areas include the entire body, including the torso, limbs, and mask. Each hit with the heavy sabre is counted as valid.
In the fencing bonus round, competitors engage in one-on-one matches against all other participants except themselves. In the sabre showdown, victory is determined by a single hit, and the winner remains in the arena to continue challenging opponents while the defeated steps out.
On the fencing bonus round, athletes unleash their speed in offensive maneuvers, make precise judgments of "fast, accurate, and fierce," exhibit agility when entering the engagement distance, and embody the spirit of wielding a sword in the face of adversity, where the brave prevail.
