On January 16th at 9:30 am, a specialized briefing session for the UIPM 2024 Pentathlon and Laser Run World Championships took place at the meeting room of Zhengzhou Culture, Tourism, and Sports Group. Attending the meeting were representatives from the UIPM, the CMPA, and Zhengzhou Culture, Tourism, and Sports Group.

The briefing was led by the UIPM 2024 Pentathlon Task Force of Zhengzhou Culture, Tourism, and Sports Group, who provided a comprehensive overview of the event preparations, plans for venue renovations, and proposals for equipment supply. The three parties engaged in fruitful discussions and exchanged ideas regarding competition and venue details. Both the UIPM and the CMPA commended the detailed and informative report presented by the Zhengzhou organizing team. They expressed their appreciation for the efficient progress and warm hospitality extended during the event preparations. Later in the afternoon, the three parties visited the venue at Zhengzhou Olympic Sports Center for an on-site inspection.
